Patent searches are conducted, upon request by our clients, in the patent literature by making use of major patent, utility model and/or design data bases in order to evaluate the state of the art in a given field of technology in view of councelling on:

• Patentability of technical innovations proposed.
• Validity of a patent document before starting litigation (enforcing) in Italy against infringers.
• Validity of patent documents enforceable in Italy.

Trademark and domain name searches:

Searches are conducted worldwide or in specific territories through trademark data bases in order to:

• Assess whether a trademark and/or domain name can be used and or registered by our clients;
• Evaluate the novelty of trademark and domain name proposed for registration.
